200 Students Vision 2020
The ABSIP Vision 2020 master-plan is a guiding document formulated by the ABSIP National Executive Committee in 2014. It seeks to outline the developmental agenda for the organisation for the next 5 years culminating in the 2020. One of the key pillars of the Vision 2020 master-plan is Youth Development.
The aspect of Youth Development, which rests on our Student Development unit and is anchored across the various Student Chapters across the country.
Working towards year 2020, we are working towards mobilising resources to fund 200 students at various universities across the country in various fields of study in the Financial Services Sector. The Bursary Fund has already assisted more than 50 students to date with many having graduated and now in the Sector or pursuing post-graduate studies in various fields.
In order for our Vision 2020 to become reality, we request your humble patronage to assist in the ensuring that we are able to assist the development of future leaders of South Africa.
ABSIP Women In Focus
The ABSIP Women In Focus (AWIF) initiative is a key pillar not only for the ABSIP Vision 2020 master-plan but also on the global agenda.
The role of women in the Financial Services Sector needs to be redefined and ABSIP has taken a stance that women should represent at least 30% of seats on boards, amongst other resolution. For more on our AWIF programme, click here.
ABSIP held its Inaugural AWIF Summit in 2014 which was a great success thanks to the valuable contributions from our stakeholders. In order for the AWIF programme to succeed, we require your assistance.
